Sprinkle (b) 12-5-1846 -Jonesville, VA (on Saturday, near Crab Orchard) (d) 11-25-1943 -Fairview, Scott, VA (Thurs.) married 12-26-1873 -Lina Elizabeth Gilliam (b) 7-3-1857 -Scott County, VA (Fri. near Clinch River). (d) 11-8-1928 -Fairview, Scott, VA (Thurs.) They had twelve (12) children. Six (6) boys & six (6) girls. I have names, birth & death dates of all, for anyone with a connection to the family. I don't have marriage dates or all their spouses & children. I have parents names for Wesley & Lina, but no dates. I was told by a cousin that their son, William (Bill) wrote a 200 year almanac on the family. He died in 1970. I don't have anything on his family, only letters he wrote my Mother, when she was a child. She died in 1979. Her Mother, a sister to William (Bill) was Victoria A. Sprinkle (b) 11-19-1877 -Fairview, Scott, VA (Mon) (d) 5-5-1943 -Fairview, Scott, VA (Wed). She married 11-11-1907 - Evan Parkey Bledsoe (b) 1879 (d) July 1912 in a mine explosion in Pennington Gap, Va. My husband & I were in Fairview, Scott County, VA in 1997 to search for my grandmothers grave, with no luck. I remembered a swinging bridge we had to cross for the funeral, but I was only 5 1/2 at the time. I remember my great grandfather had a sawmill. I believe he was a justice of the peace or a lawyer. Victoria & Parkey had two children. One, my Mother, Edith Gertrude Bledsoe (b) 6-13-1910 -St. Charles, Lee, Va (d) 4-22-1979 Houston, Harris, TX (buried Dallas,TX). married 10-17-1927 in Cumberland Gap, Claiborne County, TN- Vivian Harris (b) 8-8-1906 -Cleburne, Johnson, TX (d) 3-15-1970 Dallas, TX. They had six (6) children of which I am Mary Evelyn Harris born in Happy Hollow of Roda, Wise County, VA. That is also one of my e-mail addresses.
