Other sources: 6th child of Wesley W. Sprinkle: Annie M. Sprinkle & her granddaughter, Barbara Luellen Goyen; Virginia Mabe Sprinkle & husband, Charles R. Sprinkle, son of 4th child, John S. Sprinkle; a second cousin, Kathleen Wells Goode Dickenson, the daughter of 7th child Virgie Belle Sprinkle. Many old family letters & phone notes. Mama left a treasure of family items pertaining to her parents & grandparents (Sprinkle/Bledsoe) to us children, such as old love letters tied with a pink ribbon of her parents and her's & our Daddy's. The letters (1907 -1970's) showed how much they all loved one another and also how family oriented. The letters show the hardship of the miners in those early days, having to leave their wife & children in one place & following the work opening up in another mine, some distance away, sometimes a state away. They speak of other family members, such as our Grandfather Parkey asking Grand-mother Victoria if one of his brothers brought her a sack of flour & ect. and saying, maybe we should sell the store to Mama (Juline (Julia) Bledsoe. We never knew they had a store, Maybe our Mother, Edith did. In Edith's letters to her husband, our father, Vivian Harris, some written with her spending time at the Wesley Sprinkle home with her mother, Victoria Sprinkle Bledsoe. She speaks of her Sprinkle uncles, Charlie, Taylor, Doyle & cousin Oscar at various times. These are sweet letters to her husband, but filled with genealogy information if one pays attention. Later letters are cousins & friends. Many items she had packed away, we are just realizing the value, as her Father's divorce papers from his first wife, papers giving him custody of their two children, store receipts, where her father signed his name Parkey (folks went by initials so much back then) as his E. P. Bledsoe or Evans (Evan) or Park. His name was Evan Parkey Bledsoe. I hope this is not too much to send and that it's useful to someone. I can also add the great grandchildren, gg- grandchildren & some ggg-grandchildren of Wesley C. Sprinkle. I need to work backwards now with the information, Margaret that you have given me. Thank you, Mary, granddaughter of Victoria A. Sprinkle
