Last summer the first Gatherin' of the Bledsoes was held in Gallatin, Tennessee, hosted by the Bledsoe Lick Historical Society. It was a rewarding event for those of us with an interest in Bledsoe history and genealogy. Over 400 people attended, many bringing their family genealogy records and old pictures, eager to find relatives and learn more about the early Bledsoes.
