Hi! Having been on so many lists for so long..this what I know about Roll Call. The list manager or "owner" is the one who decides when it is an appropriate time for a roll call..Each of us would send in a roll call response in which we would include in the subject line of our email (sent to the list)..our Surnames and or dates...in the body of the message we put any number of Surnames and/or info about which families we are researching. This way, we can share our info with new members or those who share common surnames.
