I, too, am looking for a Scott County family and would appreciate a look up for ANY and all CONNS in the area. My brick wall is Jesse Wilson CONN. He married Mary PENDLETON. I am thinking that his father might have been Samuel CONN but nothing definite at this point. He apparently had a brother Levi who moved to Floyd County, Kentucky in 1820, just in time to be in the Scott County, VA census and the Floyd County, KY census as well!! Another possibility is Jacob CON but he might have been from across the state line in Hawkins or Sullivan County, TN. The children of Jesse and Mary married into the MOSBY, CARTER, MABRY, BROWN, LANE, and ROSE lines before moving to Morgan County, Kentucky in the mid 1840's. Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated by many of Jesse and Mary's descendants as we all seem to be bleeding from continual run ins with the brick wall! Thanks!
