My brick wall is my great grandfather, William F. Gibson, born c. 1834 in Kentucky. I can't find his parents or any further than him. William's father was born in Virginia and his mother in Kentucky. William was married twice--first to a woman from Ft. Worth, Texas and they had five kids. After the Civil War, William came back to Scott County--Dungannon and met my great grandmother, Alafare Barnett. Their children were Hiram, born Kentucky, John Calvin(my grandfather), born Kentucky 1871, Nancy Elizabeth, born Kentucky, Mary and Rosa, born Scott County, Va. and William, born 1887, Lee County, Va. William was on the 1880 Scott County, Va. Census but I can't find him on any other. Any info appreciated. Navada Gibson Heflin
