Hi: I am seeking information on Rev John Pendleton and Jamia Kilgore families. Rev John was born in Amherst CO. VA. married about 1812..... not sure what County. Rev. John and Jamia left Scott County about 1850, went to Lee County VA.... Then in 1858, Rev John and wife Jamia and several of their children and family members left Lee County VA by wagon train and came to Farmersville, TX in Collin County. They are both buried in the Pendleton Cemetery near there. He died 10-11-1861 and Jamia died 5-28-1868. I have photos of their tomb stones, will share with any one working on these families.
