    3. KARich: In addition to what Larry wrote, all genconnect messages are forwarded to the county Rootsweb mailing lists. There was a discussion several months ago regarding the duplicate messages on one of my other mailing lists. Several subscribers were upset because they were getting duplicate messages. On one of my lists there is the notice of the message being posted with a link to genconnect and then the actual message comes through again later. I don't know if there is any way to stop the genconnect notices from coming through. The next time you get one, read the notice at the bottom. There may be a way to stop them. Just to let you know, I did not sign up to receive these genconnect notices. They just started coming. You probably didn't either. Corinne

    3. Not all genconnect messages are forwarded to the lists. This is a joint decision made by the list owner and the board admin. Some folks love it and some don't, but aren't we all looking for information?
