I am trying to determine if the John M. Seymore in the 1910 Scott Co. Census is the John M. Seymore who was the son of John Seymore. In the 1860 census John Seamore is listed with 2 dau. named Eleanor and Evaline. In 1870 he is listed with Martha E. and Margaret E., Thermon, Louisa and John M. Semore. In the 1880 census he has Martha E. Thruman, Louisa and John M. Seymour. I have found a John M. Seymore in the 1910 Scott Co. Census. He was married to Rosa, with son Grover C. and sister Elender. The John M. is only 1 year different from the John M. son of John Seymore and Elender is only one year different from Eleanor. Could the census take have heard Eleanor pronounce as Elender. Could these two be the children of John Seymore. Can anyone get the information off Elender Seymore death certificate (I don't know when she died but it was after 1910) and see who her father was. Thank you, Clara __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Shopping - with improved product search http://shopping.yahoo.com
