    3. That David Jesse McKensie is sinteresting, both for the name David Jesse and the fact that he went to Johnson county KY. The given and middle name are Common in the Descendants of David Jesse Carty ca 1750-prior to 1840. He and several of his descendants are found in Russell and Scott County and several descendants move on to Floyd/Johnson County KY as well as many of the other counties of East KY in the same generation from which your ancestor seems to be a part. You may want to check the Russell County VA site for more. Many of this family later become McCarty particularly those who are in Scott County and thosewho mmove on to KY. ----- Original Message ----- From: "D McKenzie" <dmckenze@hutchtel.net> To: <VASCOTT-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, March 21, 2004 5:25 PM Subject: [VAScott] {VAScott}[VASCOTT-L}Roll Call > Hello To All, I am looking for any information on the following people- William and Barbara Lane of Scott co.
