Happy Holidays list, I subscribe to the Virginia Star newspaper from Gate City, Scott Co., VA. thanks to my cousin Jean Pierson. The last one I recd had a article on finding an old marker for Daniel Boone trail from 1930s there in Duffield. How a group restored it, etc. It makes me wonder just how much history is buried there in Scott Co., VA. The paper prints all the obits, I find it most interesting how they print the family connections. Now they know how to write a obit.
