Can anyone help me find the Rosedale homestead and the home graveyard? I am looking for the graves of James TYREE, (b. abt 1814; d, abt 1877), and his three wives, two of whom would be Mary Elizabeth (Hall) TYREE (b. abt 1825; d. abt 1850) and Polly (Young) TYREE (b. abt 1825). My grandfather typed a note on his 68th birthday (5/6/1929): "A dear old father and mother lie sleeping side by side in the home graveyard in the old Apple Orchard. My father planted these trees, he told me, with his own hands. All his dead are buried there except four." I also have a photo labled "Rosedale VA 7/19/24" "Rosedale" may have been the name of the town, but I think it more likely that it is the name of the family farm in Scott County, VA.
