Yes, we are having a Genealogy Seminar. The date is Saturday June 23 and we are going to be able to use the SCC college classrooms that we used last year. I am just finishing up the class details. We are going to have classes on German, Black, Mulengeon, Scottish and Cherokee Heritage in addition to other genealogy classes. Janet Roberson, Register of Deeds, is going to have a class at the Deeds office in the courthouse showing people what they have and how to find it. I will have all the details up on the Historical Society website shortly so watch for it. Please help spread the word on the seminar. I will be sending an e-mail to all the NC county coordinators when the information is on the website. If you have, or know someone who has, access to the state mailing lists of GA, SC, VA and or TN and could alert these counties let me know.
