Hello List: This is my first time to respond.I checked out the Scott photos and enjoyed them very much.The photo of James D.Pierson and Fannie N.Renfro caught my attention.Flora "Fannie" N.Renfro was my grandfather's half sister."Fannie" Renfro was the daughter of Granville Claude Renfro and his first wife,Julia V.Nickols.They married December24,1874,Scott County,Virginia,and had two other daughters;Ellen Renfro,b abt.1878,married Will Steffey,and Julia Mary married Thomas Hurd,March 24,1901,Scott County.Granville Claude Renfro married[2]Nancy Elizabeth Minton and they had 7 children,including my grandfather,William Floyd Renfro.My mother's middle name is Flora,taken from Flora "Fannie"N.Renfro Pierson.I have information about the Renfro,Minton,and Blankenbeckler Famlies of Scott County and some of the families they married with.
