Evon: According to USGS National Mapping Information, there is a Fincastle Church in Scott County; it's east of Dungannon. For a map, go to the USGS site, type in Fincastle, select Virginia and enter. You'll get a list of four* "features." To find the church, click on "show feature details and location" and then on "show feature location" on Tiger Map Server option. http://www-nmd.usgs.gov/www/gnis/gnisform.html Anyone who hasn't used this site should try it. I've even found towns and post offices which no longer exist.
