Good morning all: I have just completed updating/revising the "Hills and Hollers" site. I have added a DEATH REGISTER page for information being provided by Rhonda Robertson and the Wise County Historical Society on the deaths of former coal camp residents. I hope to keep adding the records as fast as Rhonda can provide them in scanned format. I have also added some more state historical marker photos provided by some of you. I would love to expand this portion to other states. Got any photos of historical markers laying around from your last vacation or day trip? Send them to me and I'll add them to the site! And lastly, I have revised the homepage. I added a guestbook (which many of you requested) and revised the homepage so that the "table of contents" has its own page now. I plan to build a searchable database of all the records and files on the website and create downloadable files for them as well. Sure wish I could devote more time but alas; I have to work for a living! As always, comments and suggestions are always welcome.
