Jacob (Jake) MILLER was born in 1795 in what later became Scott County. His father, Johann Jacob MILLER was reportedly (family lore) a Hessian soldier who remained in this country after the Revolutionary War. Jake and his family later moved to Pike County, Indiana, along with the old John MILLER. I am in need of information about any other of John's children or any of his siblings that may have come to Virginia with him. My Anderson ancestor, Carter H. Anderson, was born in Scott co, Va in 1820, according to his pension records from CW. Two Anderson men are shown on 1820 Scott co, census, a Isaac C. and a James. I have researched Isaac C. Anderson's line and did not find my Carter H. James I can't determine which line he is from. Does anyone have knowledge of this James Anderson? George, noticed your Palmer family? I am looking for William C. Palmer, b. Dec 1857. In 1889 he married Nannie J. Dillow from Sullivan Co TN. I think it was a second marriage for him. I find him in 1900 in Sullivan Co TN, with wife Nannie are a son and dau and Alexander Palmer, father, born Feb 1831. I cannot find him in 1920 oe 1930. Does he fit into your Palmer family?
