VA, the former c1803. Look at the PPTLs I sent you for this county in 1802 & 1803; there is no Enoch Moore there. Then, look at the 1843 and 1845 PPTL clips I sent for this county and you can see via proximity that these two persons were very closely related; also see the cross-over in the personal names in the RCV 1850 census. As you see from early PPTLs in WCV, Zachariah, Elisha, William & John Moore Jr. all grouped around John Moore Sr. I believe this John Moore Sr. to be the one in the HH of Elisha Moore, 1850c, RCV, age 81y and hence I still think that what Michael Dye has on the 1850 annotated census "possible s/o John Moore" is correct. Do you have any clues to the surname of the wife of Elisha Moore? Thanks. Jack Hockett
I have noticed lot of activity concerning the "moore" lines I am desperatly seeking the parents of Susannah Moore who married Marcus wilson they both died whitley Co Ky after 1850 born (supposed ly Montgomery Co Va which I think was russel Co Va. she was born1799 (i think off the top of my head) and he about 1795/97 I think maybe her father could have been John Moore any help out there for me? this has been my brick wall for many years I would like to see beyond it before I leave this world (then I can ask them myself) Tlas101@aol.com wrote:This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list.
