Unfortunately, I am not sure who Bettie Turner married. I think it might have been a Smith, but have no real proof. According to the 1900 census a Maggie Turner was living with James and Bettie Smith. This Maggie is the right age for my grandmother. My Maggie's mother died when Maggie was young. If you have any info that may be helpful, please let me know. Linda
