Hi Brenda: The Remines and Ferrells are connected but in a different pattern: Rebecca (Romaine) Remine is the sister of William Hoffmeyer Remine. She is married to Richard Ferrell born 1776, and an uncle to Richard (Remine) Ferrell born 1798. Elizabeth Ferrill born 1778 is the youngest sister of Richard Ferrell born 1776. Their father was William Ferrell who was killed on June 15, 1778, and their mother was Martha Thompson, who later married William Evans. William H Remine and Elizabeth Ferrill had a child in 1798. His name is Richard (Remine) Ferrell. Richard passed away in 1862. The land in which the cemetery is located belonged to Samuel Romine thru a land warrant for service in the Revolutionary War. Samuel was the father of Rebecca and Willaim H. Romine. In 1828 the land was transferred to Richard Romine Ferrell. These records are at the Russell County Court. Hope this helps.
