Culbertson. I am also descended from James and Mary Kilgore Culbertson, through youngest son Jeptha. Jeptha and his wife Elmira Pulliam Culbertson also had a son James M. born in 1840 in MO, also in Co E., 48 Virginia. This James survived the war and lived the rest of his life in Wise Co. He was Clerk of the Court there for many years. I research all of the SW Va Culbertson's, so I'm just trying to sort out the service record of these two. Yvonne (old email yvonne@monmouth.com)
