    2. Yvonne, I do research for this line of Vickers/Vicars. The son you Martha Vicars and Tyre Cultbertson were in the VA 48th Infantry. (From Aug 9-11, 1862 the 48th was involved in the most severe battle yet for their unit. At the end of Battle of "Cedar Run", near Culpepper, the 48th reported 19 killed, 43 wounded, & 4 missing.
