William Johnson (of Sandy run) made oath in court that he was a subscribing witness to a certain deed of conveyance from JOHN RICHMOND to (James Hope or Pope?) for 200 acres land lying (on) Beaver Dam Creek, branch of Fisrt (should this be French?) Listed under the heading "A List of Young Men" line no. 6 was John Richman. It is almost implied that these were not married men.
