VA British people". When they entered the Valley of Virginia, the Scots, Germans, and Ulsterites (so-called "Scots-Irish") called the E. VA people "Tuckahoes" who, in turn, called them "Cohees". I agree with Garry - very little substantiation can ever be obtained on Indian ancestry (in VA, especially) and it is almost a sure case that the tales of "full-blooded Indian" are generally very false in SW VA (especially after the early 1700's). Just my opinion though. Jack
