Records on my family is almost non existant. Martha McGee (the supposed full blooded indian) death record reads as follows. She died in 1854. Martha McGee 75y F26 Aug Blank Blank Jeremiah Compton In 1850 her age is given as 53 so it's hard to tell how she was. No cause of death or parents named mentioned. For all I know there could have been Melungeon ancestry as well. I noticed that the grandchildren of Martha, most had piercing blue eyes, very dark skin, and high cheek bones.
