(Saint Phillips and Saint Michaels Townships) Peter Wyatt listed with : 2 white males over 16 3 white females 4 slaves 9 people total There was a John Wyatt living there also. It was not in alphabeticle order so it is possible they were related. John had 33 people total. 9 white males over 16, 2 white males under 16, 9 white females, 2 other free people and 11 slaves. 1800 Charleston S.C. Peter Wyatt 2 males age 16-25 2 males 26-44 1 female under 10 3 females ages 10-15 1 female 26-44 1810 Spartanburg S.C. Peter Wyatt 1 male under 10 1 male 26-45 1 fem. 16-25 1820 Spartanburg SC The index lists 4 Peter Wyatt's in Spartanburg, I could only find one: Peter Wyatt 1 white male 0-10 1 white male 10-16 1 white male 26-45 2 females 0-10 1 female 26-45 2 people in agriculture 1830 Grayson Co. VA Peter Wyatt 1 male under 5 1 male 5-10 1 male 30-40 2 females under 5 2 females 10-15 1 female 15-20 1 female 30-40 there is an Elijah Wyatt there also. In 1840 Elijah Wyatt is in Grayson Co. VA. 1840 there is still a Peter Wyatt in Spartenburg SC... 1840 Russell Co. Va Peter Wyatt 1 male under 5 1 male 5-10 1 male 10-15 1 male 15-20 1 male 40-50 1 female under 5 2 females 5-10 3 females 10-15 1 female 15-20 1 female 40-50 1850 Russell Co. Va #365 Elizabeth Wyatt 54 b. SC (this is the widow of Peter Wyatt) Sarah 16 b. Grayson Co. Va Johnson 15 b. Grayson Lydia J. 10 b. Grayson #1299 Hannah Wyatt 36 b. SC (is this age right?) John 12 b. Grayson VA Elizabeth 11 b. Tennessee Louisa 9 b. Russell Co. * think she is also listed in the home of Samuel Taylor Jr. Martha J. 7 Lindsey T. 4 Jefferson 1 Hannah does not appear to be living with Peter and Elizabeth Wyatt in the 1840 census. Mabe she was living with Louisa's father. Wonder if it is Samuel Taylor? 1840 Russ. Co. Va Samuel Taylor Jr. 1 male 20-30 (Samuel 28) 1 female 15-20 (this does not fit either Hanna's or his wifes age...unless Hannah lied?) 1 female 20-30 (Rebecca age 25 or Hannah age 26?) It seems odd that Samuel and Rebecca had no children of their own in 1850. But Louisa Wyatt age 9 was living with them.
