Records show that on 21/May/1860 William Hubbard, son of Randolph and Mary, was betrothed to Lucy Ray in Russell County. His mariital status is "W" which I assume to mean widowed. I know he was also married to a Jane Nuckles, but the listing I have for their children is much later, in the 1870's. Does anyone know who the first wife was? Was Jane Nuckles the first or third wife? Which of the wives is associated with which children?
