William Hubbard that married Lucy Ray was the father of William "Buck" Hubbard. His first wife was Mary (Polly). Records show that on 21/May/1860 William Hubbard, son of Randolph and Mary, was betrothed to Lucy Ray in Russell County. His mariital status is "W" which I assume to mean widowed. I know he was also married to a Jane Nuckles, but the listing I have for their children is much later, in the 1870's. Does anyone know who the first wife was? Was Jane Nuckles the first or third wife?
