You can order the early Russell County, Virginia Will books on microfilm through your local library. Just go to the Library of Virginia website, find the Reel numbers and titles you need, and fill out an ILL request form at your library. The film will arrive in a few weeks and you can view it at your library. You must have a library card for your library and they must participate in the Interlibrary Loan Program (most do). Your library will generally hold the film for you for about three weeks. You can also order films like that from the LDS library in Salt Lake through local family history centers. A list of phone numbers and addresses of FHC's is online at the LDS site (www.familysearch.org). If you live in town, there is probably one in your neighborhood.
