George, I will share you inquiry below about the Tivis Jessee place in Reeds Valley with the Jessee and Russell Co. Lists, as there will be others who can provide information and know much more about Tivis Jessee and the home place there in Reeds Valley that you have purchased. I do not know which Tivis Jessee this may be or this place, although I may very well have seen it. We have many a Tivis Jessee in the Jessee family over 200 years, including my own line, with 5 generations of John Tivis Jessee, as a family name. You may look up the several Tivis and John Tivis Jessees in my database at www.jessee.org, not to mention Bruce Tivis, George Tivis, and many other variations. Tivis is a Welsh variation of the Tavis and Tavish and more Irish, Scot, and other Celtic variations, I think. Someone may correct me on this.
