Sally, heir and legatee of William Dorton, Deed Book 7, P. 393. John Ramsey, 12 Feb 1825; Sarah, heir and legatee of William Dorton, Deed Book 7, P. 174 The above dates are the dates entered in the deed book, not the date of the marriage. These entries imply that Sarah Dorton Ramsey had some property deeds she was involved with as a result of being an heir of William Dorton, most likely her father. Her spouse John Ramsey is mentioned, as being her spouse. Best thing is to look up those deeds and see what details you can learn from them. One source is at your local LDS Family History library you can request the Russel County Deed microfilm and see those entries.
