But, my search has the following. I found a "Corede Meade" b: Abt 1827 in Ky, residing with wife Margaret Meade b: Abt 1830 in Ky, In the 1850 census for Muhlenburg County. Not sure, but found it a little coincidental...they have a daughter luella b: Abt 1849. If you have acces to a census index, look for Margaret b: 1830 +/- 1 yr, Ky, and you should find the image. I din't think this is your Creed, but looking at the 1880 County Census it had a long shot. 1880 Davies County Creed Mead b: Abt 1826, Ky, a Carpenter, Married to Mary, c: George (14), Maggie (12), John (10), Merdith (8), Eva (3), been married for 6 years 1900 Davies County Census has a Creed Meed born Aug 1820 Sorry, I wish I could have helped. I'm probably not telling you anything you haven;t already done, but if you contact a library in Davies County, you can see if they have newspapers for 1903, and for a small fee they would probably see if an Obit was published.
