I, too have not been able to get past his generation. He was supposed to have been born in PA. I was unaware of the petition for Tazewell Co. and the connection with the other Allens and Henry Co. John Allen's wife may have had a daughter after his death, Nancy. A descendant told me that Nancy's father was a George Allen. I will send you privately what I have on this line.
