His daughter, Mariba Susan "Cricket" Tate is my grandmother. She married Lee Massengill. My information says that Mariba Rickles parents were Sarah Rickles and Squire Fields, but I'm not certain they were married or that Mariba was actually Squire's daughter. Sarah may have had Mariba before she was with Squire. How are you related to Gulley Tate, my gg grandfather? Thanks again for the information. Betty

Betty, James Gulley Tate's father and my GGG-Grandfather Elisha Tate were brother's. James Gulley would be my 1st. cousin 4-times rmoved. I'm pretty certain of my Tate line from Elisha down but am a little confused about some of the older one's. My private e-mail is clyde783@charter.net let's compare our data on the older one's.
