The Russell County Genealogy Group will be meeting at 5:30 pm on Thursday, May 5th at the Russell County Library. Our guest speaker will be author, Doris Musick. She will be discussing her recent book, “The Starched Apron”, a story about Annie McKinney Musick, wife of the pioneer David Musick of Big A Mountain, written through the eyes and imagination of the writer. Doris is also a field editor for “Country Magazine”. Everyone is invited to come and bring a friend! The Group’s purpose is “to learn, to share and to perpetuate family history.” All those with these same interests are invited to attend.
