I am also descended from Jacob and Joanna Thompson. According to Russell County census, Joanna's parents were Abraham and Leanna Johnson Owens. Leanna Johnson's parents were William Johnson and Susannah Thompson Johnson. Susannah Thompson was a sister to William Thompson who married Nancy Jackson.
