DYER, Jerry Dale age 67 of West Liberty, Ky passed away Saturday in the King's Daughters Hospital, Ashland, Ky. He was born September 1, 1940 in Morgan County, Ky, son of the late Carl Edison Dyer & Eva Rae Armitage Dyer. He was a member of the Christian Church, West Liberty, Ky and a Fire Chief, Dayton Ohio and retired after 27 years of services. He was a plank owner (First Voyage) of the USS Kitty Hawk. Surviving is his wife Bernice Gullett Dyer of West Liberty, Ky and two children John & Jill Dyer of Lewisburg, Ohio; Terri & Jeff Rex of Littleton, Colorado; Two stepdaughters Rita & Johnny Perry of West Liberty, Ky and Ruth & Greg Conley of Salyersville, Ky; Two brothers Harold & Nellie Blair of Miamisburg, Ohio; Jack & Pat Dyer of Beaver Creek, Ohio; Four sisters Billie & the (late Bill Allen) of Ashland, Ky; Jean & the (late Rome Long) of Ashland, KY: Sue & the (late Larry Hughes) of Middletown, OHIO: Anna "Cricket" & Jack Saunders of Henrico, NC. Special cousin Garland & Linda Perry of West Liberty, KY; Grandchildren; Lauren Dyer of Lewisburg, Ohio; J.J.Dyer of Lewisburg, Ohio; Darian Rex of Littleton, CO.; Ashlyn Rex of Littleton, CO.; Step-grandchildren; Brandi DeHaven of Cincinnati, OHIO; Justin Perry of Lexington, Ky; Jonathan Perry of West Liberty, Ky; Gabriel Conley of Salyersville, Ky. Funeral services will be Tuesday 11 AM June 17, 2008 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Pastor Paul Casteel and Steven Gullett officiating. Burial in the Kennard Cemetery, Rockhouse Creek Rd., West Liberty, Ky. Visitation 5 PM Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Ky. Pallbearers will be Family & Friends. Military services will be conducted at the graveside by the Morgan Co. D.A.V.
