He filed for Rev War pension in 1834in Tazewell. He states he was an Indian spy & guarded Wynn's Garrison on the south fork of Clinch River. He said his companions while spying were Duncan Oguliar(?) & David Johnson William Wynn, John Sinkaus(?), and William G.W. Currin all gave statements for him.
