He was b. Aug 1764. He entered service 1777 in Washington Co VA. In 1838 he was living in Peoria Co Ill. In 1826 he said his wife was 53 & his 2 daughters that lived w/ him were 14 & 11. In 1839 he said three of his children were living in Illinois. Alexander Montgomery of Floyd Co KY made statement for him. Mention was made of a brother James.
