He had moved there to stay with his daughters. The source is Footnote.com They have records digitized from the Nat'l Archives. The site is fairly new & can be hard to navigate. Last I looked you can get a month's membership for about $8. You can download the images to your computer's photo program. The files may contain birth records, letters from lawyers, and statements from folks that aren't in the county records. Have seen actual pages from Bibles.
