I knew of the 1880 wise co. census, I figured that was probably my James, since I couldn't find him elsewhere in the census. His son was called Ed, I've searched for Edward,Edgar. But, It's possible that his name was Samuel "Edmund", since James had an older brother named Edmund(1850 census). The marriage record of 1870 is a great help. Thank You Like you, I now believe that they are one and the same.
