John Hay said in 1846 that he knew them in Pittsylvania Co & that they had 3 children, and that they'd moved to Russell Co 23 years ago. There's a letter from G.W. Hopkins asking about the status of the apps for Spencer Breeding, David Cartey, Thomas Lovelady, Henry Ingles, and Daniel Price Mathew Seay of Pittsylvania Co made statement for him in 1833 There's a letter from Oney Self to the War Dept that is witnessed by D. Carter, Wm Gibson, Masten Self, and Fanney Self In 1835 he said they'd been living in Russell Co 11 years.
