GIBSON, Linda Alice Age 82 went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at 7:35 PM in Garden Manor Retirement Village. She was born in Rogersville, Tennessee on February 22, 1926 the daughter of George and Laura (Hayes) Ball. On December 24, 1946 in Stone Gap, Virginia she was married to Ransom Gibson, and he preceded her in death in 1970. She was a member of the Nazarene Church and was employed as a private home health care worker for many years. She is survived by her children, Patsy (David) Marcum of Sevierville, Tennessee, Gwynne (Michael) Gibson of Liberty Township, and Derrick (Marla) Gibson of Hamilton; eight grandchildren, Craig, Brandon, Adam Curron, Corey, Chris, Katy, Kayla, and Robbie; four great- grandchildren, Michael, Lilly, Adeline, and Kyle; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and was the last surviving member of twelve children: one sister, Mollie Miller; and ten brothers, Hayes, Oscar, Billy, Curtis, Jim, Sam, Arthel, Woodrow, Bobby, and H.R. Ball. Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Clyde Waites, Pastor of the Drexel Avenue Church of the Nazarene officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
