Sproles Mrs. Edna M. Sproles, 86, 400 London Pride Road, Irmo, S.C., formerly of 1208 Happy Valley Street, Elizabethton, died Wednesday, July 10, 2002, in the Brian Center, Columbia, S.C. Mrs. Sproles was a native of Russell County, Va., and a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Carlie Sullivan Tignor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Albert F. "Andy" Sproles, March 7, 1997, a granddaughter, Jill Sproles, and by four sisters and two brothers. Mrs. Sproles had lived in Elizabethton since 1937 before moving to South Carolina a few years ago. She was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Nila Smith, Irmo, S.C., and a son, Tommy Sproles, Elizabethton. Six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
