Wm & Frances Helbert & family (10 children including Mary E) were from Lebanon, Va in the 1860 & 1870 Census. For some reason they went to Hawkins Co Tn in 1880 and subsequently returned to Lebanon Va. My mother was a Puckett from Lebanon, Va. and her family told the same "Cherokee Indian Lineage" story.
