Michael Fields born _1815_ and died _1862_ in Scott Co., VA. A reference in Scott Co. Library says he "died from wounds". One could infer that it was service-related wounds. I need any info confirming or discounting this assumption. I also need proof that he was the son of William Fields & Elizabeth Elliott. Michael was married to Nancy Rebecca Ann McClelland.
