    3. Hi Jalena, Click on the link first -- http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.r ussell/7434/mb.ashx These messages are coming to this email list via the message board posts, so you have to go there to see the attachments. It's confusing and the link is easy to overlook in the body of the message (below). 3. Jalena, Now I see, the link is broken. Don't know why that happens. You can copy and paste it back together in your address bar, Or go here http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~varussel/query/index.html and Click on the first link (in red). That should take you there. Michelle

    3. The problem is that the link spans two lines because of word wrapping. Paste it into your browser in two pieces so it is all one line. Use CTRL-C to copy and CTRL-V to paste it into your browser address bar. After pasting the first part, cursor to the end of the pasted 1st piece and then copy and paste the second piece, so there is no space in it. 2nd method, even easier, If you have Google search in your toolbar of your browser, right click just before the first character of the link and while holding the left mouse button down, highlight the whole thing by moving to the end of the second line, then right click, select copy and then paste into your Google address bar. Third method (permanent one-time fix), even easier for Outlook users Open the message, select Tools at the top of the window. Click on Options, Click on view, now check the box in the lower right corner, by clicking on it that, says "Wrap to Window". Now click on OK. You only have to do this once, from now on your links won't be wrapped. Just make sure the window you are viewing your e-mail in is wider than the link. Widen your window by hovering your mouse over the edge of the window until you see the left/right arrow then click your left mouse and make the window as wide as it needs to be to accommodate the link. The link should appear in blue text with a line under it. This indicates that it is a hyperlink. If it isn't just put your cursor at the end of the link and hit the Enter key, this will make it a hyperlink. Try it. http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.r ussell/7434/mb.ashx Randy Crouse McNew Huntsville, AL -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Michelle Ligon Sent: Wednesday, May 14, 2008 12:23 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [VARUSSEL] June 1866 Tax assessment what attachments I dontseeany Hi Jalena, Click on the link first -- http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.virginia.counties.r ussell/7434/mb.ashx These messages are coming to this email list via the message board posts, so you have to go there to see the attachments.
