Part of the reason for believing in the Cherokee family on my side is that grandmother and, reportedly, her mother had such Indian looks. But nothing supports it so far. Also, one of grandmother's sisters reportedly married an Indian and went to live on a reservation--haven't tracked that one down either! Thanks again for all your help, I'm hopeful this is really leading somewhere--so far the pieces fit the way I thought things might have happened. Here's hopin' and thanks again.
