I hope to find as many descendants as possible to include in a book. Jacob Thompson was born in 1824 in Russell County, Virginia. He and Joanna's children were: William Abraham (born 1843), Leah Jane (born 1844), Sydney (born 1846), Emory F.(born 1848), Alderson J.(born 1849), Lindsey S.(born 1851), Zaddock N.(born 1853), and George C.(born 1855). William Abraham and Zaddock N. came to Wayne County, West Virginia. Jacob and Maria Smith's children were: Lorenzo Dow Ramsey(born 1864), Henry (born 1865), Hugh L.(born 1867), Mary Belle(born 1870), Price(born 1872), and Pattie(born 1873).
