He would be 80 yrs old in Jan of 1833. He d. 6 Oct 1841. William & Nancy Cecil,Joseph Oney, Wm McGuire(clergyman) and Hezekiah Harmon made statements for him. There is a letter fron the early 1900's from a Mrs. J.K. Bell requesting his military history. In her letter she says he was b. in Maryland & that he had married Eleanor Cecil.
